Polyester (PET)


1. Strong and wear-resistant

2. Poor water absorption, the official moisture regain rate is 0.4% (20 degrees, relative humidity 65%, 100g polyester absorbs 0.4g water)

3. Easy to generate static electricity, easy to fluff and pilling

4. Shuttle resistant but not alkali resistant. Note: A certain depth of alkali will damage the surface of the polyester at a certain temperature to make the fabric feel soft

5. Corrosion resistance and light resistance are better

6. The fabric made of polyester fiber is not easy to wrinkle, has good dimensional stability, and is easy to wash and dry

Polyester spinning

1. FDY (filament): the single fiber is parallel and smooth, and the brightness of the extinction is getting weaker and weaker.

2. DTY (elastic yarn): single fiber bending, low stretch and fluffy

3. DTY network yarn (low-elastic network yarn): There are phased network points to increase the bundling capacity between fibers (divided into no network, light network, medium network, and heavy network, of which the heavy network can be used as a non-sizing yarn). Under normal circumstances, FDY and DTY must be sizing or twisted before they can be used as warp yarns.

Sizing: increase the strength of the thread and the cohesion between the fibers, so that the fiber surface is smooth and easy to weave

Twisting: increase the strength, increase the cohesion between the fibers, make the fabric have a crepe effect

Twist: (T) the number of twists per centimeter of the thread

For example:

0-10T/CM weak twist

10-20T/CM medium twist

20T/CM strong twist

4. POY (pre-oriented yarn): It can be stretched and cannot be rebounded. It cannot be used as warp or weft alone. It must be compounded with other yarns and can be extended by 1.6 times. POY yarn is a semi-finished product of low-elastic network yarn. Typical fabric: washed velvet

5. ATY (air textured yarn): the surface is not smooth and has loops, typical fabric: ta velvet

6. Polyester staple fiber: multiple staple fibers twisted along the axial direction

7. Polyester slub yarn: long yarn and low elastic yarn twisted, elastic yarn beads are slow

8. High elastic yarn: high stretch, high fluffy

9. Polyester cationic yarn: can produce two-color effect with ordinary polyester yarn, easy to dye, bright color

Nylon (PA) or nylon NYLON (N)

1. The strength is very good, even more than the same fineness of steel wire

2. Very good abrasion resistance, better than other textile fibers, suitable for sportswear, socks, parachutes, cables

3. Poor water absorption, 4% public moisture regain, easy to static electricity, fluffing, and pilling

4. Alkali and acid resistance, 37.5% hydrochloric acid can be dissolved

5. Good corrosion resistance, poor water resistance, poor light resistance and heat resistance, and yellowing after prolonged exposure.

6. Clothes made of nylon are easy to deform and wrinkle

Spinning form: main FDY, ATY

Spandex (PU)

Properties: 500-800% elongation, low strength, sweat resistance, seawater resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, good performance, can not be used as warp and weft alone, must be covered with other silk yarns

Spandex coating mainly includes: empty bag, machine bag

Sea-island composite yarn: It is a composite yarn made of sea-island yarn and high-shrinkage yarn.

High shrinkage yarn: the boiling water shrinkage rate is 35% (so the rate of suede is very high)

Sea-island silk: superfine fiber, single fiber can reach 0.138

Polypropylene fiber

Also known as polypropylene fiber, including short fiber, filament and split film fiber. Polypropylene film fiber is made by first making polypropylene into a film, and then stretching the film to split it into a network of fibrils.

Viscose (R)viscose fiber

1. The chemical composition is the same as that of cotton, and the performance is similar to that of cotton

2. It has better moisture absorption performance than cotton, easy to dye, brightly dyed, and good color fastness

3. Low wet strength, 40-60% of dry strength, elasticity in wet state, poor abrasion resistance, viscose fabric is not washable, poor dimensional stability

Spinning form: viscose filament-rayon-rayon

Viscose staple fiber-man-made cotton-rayon vinegar

Acetate fiber

1. The regular moisture regain rate is 6%, semi-hydrophobic fiber

2. The strength is not good enough, silk-like luster, smooth hand feeling

3. Soft, easy to deform, poor wear resistance

4. Compared with viscose, acetate fiber has low strength, poor moisture absorption, poor dyeability, hand feel, elasticity, gloss, and warmth than viscose fiber

Metal filament

Stainless steel wire, single wire specification 0.035mm-0.28mm

Function: flashing, conductive, flame-retardant, anti-radiation function
